Prewetts Mill is a housing development completed in 2018. Through our own RIBA competition, we collaborated with an award-winning architect to design and deliver a sensitive conversion and expansion of a historic flour mill in a picturesque riverside setting.
We revitalised a former mill and office building that had stood neglected for many years. Recognising its historical and architectural significance, we embarked on a thoughtful redevelopment to transform the site into a vibrant residential community.

To ensure a design that honoured the site’s heritage while meeting modern living standards, we ran an RIBA design competition to appoint the project architect. This process led to a collaboration with award-winning architect Takero Shimazaki, who crafted a thoughtful redevelopment that preserved the character of the original structure while introducing contemporary design elements.
